1912 Harley Davidson
Kirkpatrick Bank partner, Science Museum Oklahoma, has provided a 1912 Harley-Davidson to be on display at the Danforth branch.

- 1901 - William S. Harley, 21, draws plans for engine designed for use in a regular bicycle frame
- 1902 - The first machine is created collaboratively between Harley and his childhood friend, Arthur Davidson
- 1907 - Harley-Davidson begins to dominate motorcycle races
- 1908 - First Harley-Davidson motorcycle delivered to Detroit Police for use
- 1909 - The introduction of the first V-Twin Engine
- 1911 - Introduction of the first belt drive driven with a lever instead of pedaling like a bicycle
