Kirkpatrick Bank is headquartered in Edmond, Oklahoma, serving both Oklahoma and Colorado with branches in Edmond, Oklahoma City, Colorado Springs and Castle Rock.  Originally chartered as American Bank and Trust in March 1970 in Edmond, Oklahoma, the bank was acquired by the Kirkpatrick family in May 1988, one of Oklahoma’s leading families in the energy industry and noted for their philanthropic leadership supporting communities and the arts.  American Bank subsequently branched into Colorado under the name Intermountain Bank.  In May 2004, the bank united its financial enterprises under the name Kirkpatrick Bank .
